If they want to save this, they can say they made Doomsday out of bread. Instead of feeling bad about their fail, they can turn it into something different because these ladybugs look very complicated. Just cut your losses and enjoy the rolls.

This woman had a foreign culture themed dinner for her family, so she tried her hand at cooking a traditional dish from Pompeii. Anyone from Italy's southern region where Pompeii is located would probably wonder what this woman thought their food is like.
You can't even tell what she was trying to make because it is so badly burned. We hope she didn't try to make her family eat whatever this is, and they ordered a pizza instead. At least pizza would be from the same country she was originally aiming for.
3. Sausage Rolls Took A Naughty Turn
We can all collectively agree that we are thinking the same thing, "These sausage rolls are ruined." If that isn't what you were thinking, get your mind out of the gutter. Something went wrong in the oven, and these sausages escaped from their dough rolls.
Obviously, the bakery couldn't sell them because they look like phallic objects, and they are falling all over the place. It must have been hard to be serious about these ruined sausage rolls because the second you see them you feel like a middle school boy who laughs at anything inappropriate.
4. After Hours Of Work For The Chicken Stock, They Poured It Through A Strainer Like The Recipe Said To Do
After working for hours to simmer and cook the chicken stock, this woman read the instructions, and it said to strain the broth. She thought it was odd but dumped it through a strainer anyway before realize there was supposed to be a bowl or pot underneath to catch the broth.
All of her hard work was literally down the drain, and she was left with some boiled chicken and vegetables. She felt so silly for thinking that pouring it down the drain was the correct thing to do. Now she knows for the future that you need to catch the stock that took hours to make.
5. Cobblernomicon
Although this cherry cobbler is probably delicious, it still looks like the demon you see in the corner of the room at night. Something happened with the crust, and the filling seeped through some cracks on top. It could be a cursed cobbler trying to warn you that it is too dangerous to eat.
It also looks just like Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when he is attached to the back of the professor's head. We thought harry defeated him in the final movie, but he might have found a way to come back as a cherry cobbler.
6. The Hedgehog From Everyone's Nightmares
This person definitely found the inspiration behind this cake on Pinterest, and somehow, the cute creature turned into this nightmare. We don't know exactly where things started to go wrong, but when pretzel rods were sticking out of its head, they should have known something was incorrect.
Why did they have to add those creepy gummy teeth? It looks like a swamp monster more than an adorable hedgehog. While this person might not have the eye for decorating cakes, we bet it tasted delicious as long as their guests can get past the scary exterior.
7. It's Important To Use The Correct End Of The Banana
This man tried to make a cute decoration for his wife's cocktail based on a picture he saw online. However, he didn't realize which end of the banana he was supposed to use. Instead of looking like a dolphin holding a ball, it looked like something a four-year-old drew.
Although it is more about the thought that counts, she was probably questioning her husband's artistic eye when he brought this out of the kitchen. Luckily the garnish doesn't change the taste of the drink, so it is still useable.
8. When Making French Fries Burns Down The Kitchen
How do you go from making french fries to burning down the kitchen? Instead of french fries, she made french fires, and her parents were less than impressed by their daughter's cooking skills. Looking back on this, she probably should have just bought the french fries already made.
It would have been much cheaper to buy french fries from a restaurant than pay for their home repairs. This girl must have been trying to make them extra crispy but went a little too far. Nothing a little ketchup can't fix.
9. Cute Pancake Turned Into Blood Thirsty Killer Pancake
If Tim Burton opened a pancake restaurant, this is what the food would look like. This person was trying to make a cute blueberry smiley face pancake, but it didn't go as planned. Instead, the face turned out to look more like a bloodthirsty killer from a horror movie.
These would make any child too afraid to eat pancakes for the rest of their lives. We don't know how they could have saved this horrifying face, but you can imagine that it tasted delicious no matter how messed up it was.
10. Someone Left Bread Pudding In The Oven For 5 Days And It Turned Into A Rock
This person works in a restaurant, and they found a bread pudding that had been left in the oven for five days. Instead of throwing away the burnt chunk of food, they carved eyes and a mouth to make it their pet rock. The bread pudding is unrecognizable because it sat in the oven for so long.
How did no one smell something burning every time the oven was on? It makes you question the integrity of the food at this restaurant. If food is this burnt, can it still get moldy? Or will he be able to keep this chunk of bread without it growing some fuzzy bacteria?
11. The Apple Cutter Broke And Turned It Into A Healthy Weapon
When they said, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," we didn't realize they meant a weaponized apple. The age-old myth about apples with razor blades being given to trick-or-treaters might not be true, but this photo isn't helping the rumor die down.
How do you get the blades out without hurting yourself? It looks like the apple upgraded its weaponry because it didn't want to be eaten anymore. This really brings us back to the days when our parents would sort through the candy to check for weapons.
12. Dad Tried To Make Wine Or Murder His Family? You Decided
This man tried to make wine at home, and somehow, it exploded all over the kitchen. He was also covered in grapes and juice, so it looked like he had murdered something when the family walked into the kitchen.
Since he will not succeed in the winemaking business, he should go into the fake blood industry because he has a talent for that. There must be a million fruit flies in this house if he didn't have professional cleaners come right away. They might as well rip it out and get a new kitchen.

After baking some banana bread, his wife said she couldn't find the spoon she had been using. When her husband but into the bread, he hit something metal in the middle and realize she baked the spoon into the bread—no need to waste utensils on this bread because they are baked right in.
Maybe she was baking this for people in prison, and the spoon is to help them dig their way out. Hopefully, no one tried to unknowingly microwave this because they would have much bigger problems than a missing spoon.
14. Spaghetti Shoes Are The Latest Trend
After coming home from work, this man just wanted to sit back and relax with his plate of spaghetti. However, the universe had different plans for him. He started a new fashion trend called spaghetti shoes. It might not be the most comfortable thing, but tell that to women who wear high heels.
Just looking at this photo, you can feel the amount of sadness, frustration, and disappointment this man felt at this moment. When you get home from work, you don't want to start cleaning spaghetti off the carpet and out of your shoes; you just want to relax and have dinner.
15. After Making A Second Round Of Pasta Because The First One Spilled, The Handle Fell Off The Pot
This person has the worst luck in the kitchen. The first pot of pasta they made slipped and spilled on the floor. Then, during the second round of pasta, the handle broke off the pot, and again, it spilled all over the floor. They are not having a good day clearly.
At this point, they are filled with frustration and should cut their losses by ordering delivery. How much pasta do you have to waste before you give up and eat something else? We would sit down, have a big glass of wine, and cry about this double cooking fail.
16. Boiled Egg Turned Into Rapunzel
Despite the simplicity of hard-boiled eggs, people have trouble making them correctly. This person doesn't know when the egg cracked, but it looks like it grew gold hair during the cooking process.
It looks like Humpty Dumpty won't be put back together again because his insides are now on the outside. We are sure it is still edible, but it is not the outcome they were hoping for. Some foods take a few extra tries to get perfect.

Whatever this person was trying to make turned into a science experiment from the underworld. It looks like they took the pot and scraped some asphalt off the road on a hot summer day and then tried to boil it. Maybe this person should just stay out of the kitchen for a while.
It really makes us nervous that they saw this burnt sugar overflowing from the pot, yet they decided to grab it without a glove anyway. That stuff could probably give them third-degree burns if they aren't careful. Word to the wise, never handle science experiments without protection.
18. His Wife Killed The Corn After Grilling It For Two Hours
On average, it takes about 10-15 minutes to grill corn on the cob. We don't know if this woman forgot about the corn or thought it took much longer to make, but it is severely overdone if you couldn't tell. We have never seen corn so dark before unless it was painted black.
If this was around Halloween time, they could use these as spooky decorations. Otherwise, they should throw these away and never let her grill corn again. You can give her points for trying but not succeeding.
19. Demon Pie Is Here To Haunt You
Much like the demon cobbler, this pie is also possessed by the devil apparently. They might receive retribution if they try to cut it. While this might have been intentional because it was for Halloween, it is still too scary for people to eat.
The face is missing some of its teeth as if it got them knocked out in a fight, and the eyes look like there is an evil presence behind them. Pour some holy water on this and throw it away so that it doesn't come back to haunt you.
20. Strawberry Shortcakes Turned Into Burn Victim Cats
Don't be too afraid because these aren't actually burn-victim cats. This woman made strawberry shortcakes in her cat molds, and they came out cute until she tried to frost them. She didn't let the cakes cool enough, so the frosting melted, and they turned out like this.
Instead of looking like adorable and delectable treats, the cats looked like they needed to be admitted to a trauma unit. While they seem like something that rises from the dead, these probably still taste pretty good. However, no one will be posting them on Instagram anytime soon.
21. "Why Has My Stock Not Simmered After An Hour?"
You know you are having a bad day in the kitchen when you put the pot on the wrong burner and then leave it to simmer for an hour. This person came back and wondered why their stock wasn't simmering after all this time. Luckily they didn't burn down their kitchen in the process.
This must have been so disappointing because they wasted an hour waiting for this just to find that it wasn't working. At least one side of the pot will be lukewarm. At least this is better than them forgetting their soup is on the stover and overcooking it.
22. Closing After A 12-Hour Shift, And This Happens
Five minutes before she was about to finish her shift, she dropped this container of liquid all over the floor. After working for 12 hours, we would lay in making snow angels, slowly crying while we go insane, but that is just us.
This girl must be so crushed because she has to stay even longer to clean it up. We hope her coworkers helped her after they were done taking pictures of her failure. It's hard to make fun of this because everyone can relate to this moment of despair.
23. The Lamb Cake They Wanted Vs. The Lamb Cake They Got
While this lamb cake looks rather difficult to make, this person went for it and ended up with an old man covered in whip cream. We don't know why they didn't cover the face with white frosting, but it doesn't look anything like a lamb.
If the picture of the original lamb weren't next to this, people wouldn't know that the person was trying to make any kind of animal. She could spin this and tell people it is supposed to be George Washington in a sleeping bag and save herself the embarrassment.
24. No One Tells You How The Rainbow Cake Will Look Once It Is Baked
This person tweeted what we were all thinking; the cake looks like the backside of a unicorn. Although it looks beautiful in the pan before baking, the outside browned and looks gross. Until the person levels the top of the cake, it will be a brown mess.
Although this might look like a disaster, it still tastes like any other cake. They have to level it, add some icing and decorations, and then they have a beautiful masterpiece. Hopefully, they realize this is not actually ruined.
25. Made This Glorious Pie, And The Dropped It Along With The Will To Live
This person clearly spent so much time perfecting their pie's crust with all the unique details only for it to fall to the ground and get destroyed. They were probably devastated as anyone would be watching their masterpiece fall to its doom.
On the bright side, they got a picture of it before it was wrecked, but that won't bring it back from the floor. We hope they found the will to try and make this pie again because it was so gorgeous before moving it from the counter.
26. The Turkey Is Just A Bit Crispy This Year
When the recipe said to let the skin get crisp, it didn't mean let it burn until the bird is as black as tar. It's almost as if the turkey put on a black latex bodysuit so it would look more fashionable for Thanksgiving dinner. "Before you eat me, let me perform this musical number for you."
We don't understand how all the liquid didn't evaporate if the turkey was cooked at such a high temperature. How long do you think they left the turkey in the oven because even the bones are burnt?
27. Baking Bread Will Be Fun And Easy They Said...
Baking bread may seem easy, but you have to know the little tricks to get it just right, unlike this person. Maybe they used too much yeast or let it rest for too long because it is not supposed to grow and overflow out of the bowl. The dough is coming to life and eating everything in the fridge.
They can make at least two or three loaves of bread with this amount of dough. What if the dough absorbs everything in the fridge and uses the food to get stronger, then it takes over the world? This is why you don't over yeast your bread.
28. So Thats What Happened To Sid From Ice Age
After Sid was frozen during the Ice Age, millions of years later, someone thawed him out and roasted him in a rotisserie. We don't know if they were trying to make the chickens look like the loveable Ice Age character, but it would be a good way to get your children to eat protein.
It looks like they are using their oven for the first time, which might be why they are doing such a poor job with the chickens. These chickens might induce nightmares, but at least they now know that cooking chicken is not their strong suit.
29. When Mr. Incredible Cuts His Quesadilla
While there is nothing wrong with the quesadilla itself, the person put a little too much pressure on the knife when cutting it in half. Quesadillas are not rock-solid, so we aren't sure how they managed to cut the plate in half during this process. Maybe they didn't know their strength.
Instead of wasting another plate, he can split the quesadilla with a friend since the plate is already in half. They must have used the world's sharpest knife, which was advertised so that it could cut through cutting boards and hard carrots.
30. "I Tried"...
Have you ever tried to bake someone a cake for their birthday even though you have zero baking skills? It might have turned out something like this or possibly worse, but it's that thought that really matters. This girl attempted to make her brother a birthday cake, and this was the result.
Instead of using the icing mend the crack, she made fake stitches and wrote, "I tried." He will know that she put in the effort for this eyesore of a cake, and it probably tastes fine. It might be the Frankenstein of cakes, but at least their siblings cared enough to attempt baking.
31. "Brains! We Crave Brains!!"
In case you didn't know, filling a jelly bun with a syringe is not going to turn out like the inside of a classic jelly donut. The thin needle will make the inside of your jelly buns look like brains. Unless this is for Halloween, people will be grossed out by these.
Did this person expect it to all go in one clump or were they making brains on purpose because the color is spot on? We would also love to know what a jelly bun is, and why it is clear. These look like those water drop cakes that went viral a few years ago.
32. Got Scared By The Toaster And Spilled Boiling Soup On His Hand
While he was taking tomato soup out of the microwave, the bread in the toaster popped up and scared him. He jumped and spilled boiling soup all over himself and the counter, leaving his hand burned a big mess to clean up.
The sneaky toast was waiting for the perfect moment to jump out and scare him, but no one was laughing in this situation. With a toaster that old, how could it not scare someone? They are going to need some ice and aloe for this unfortunate burn.
33. A Sweet Potato That Only Satan Would Enjoy
After getting a new air fryer, this person wanted to see how it would work with their sweet potato. It must be trial and error to get the cooking times, and temperatures correct because it looks like they turned their potato into something you would find near a volcano.
Gordon Ramsay would be screaming if he saw this. It's as if they cooked it with a rocket exhaust vent instead of an air fryer. This person should take this, stick it in their barbecue, and use it to grill other foods as if it were coal because that's what it looks like.
34. He Tried Making Flower Pancakes, But They Turned Out Like Corona Germs
For his wife's birthday, this man tried to make flower-shaped pancakes that ended up looking more like coronavirus germs. Since they had been stuck in quarantine, he tried to help her forget about the craziness outside, but these pancakes were not helping.
She was grateful for the effort he put in, and it was the thought that mattered. No matter what pancakes look like, they usually still taste good unless they are burnt. He might have overdone it with the food coloring too.

You can tell this woman had spent hours making that tomato sauce based on how she is curled up on the floor. The only one who will get to enjoy this is the cat, who is already trying to help clean up. We are going to assume it is the cat's fault because it got in her way, and she tripped.
It got underfoot and made her spill the pot of sauce as she moved it so it could get a chance to taste the sauce. On top of the mess in the kitchen, the cat probably took its sauce-covered paws and ran around the house, leaving red paw prints all over the place.
36. This Banana Bread Is Trying To Escape
The banana bread was squeezed into a pan too small, so it jumped out to get some breathing room. "Sweet, sweet relief from the confines of that metal prison." This is like when you put one leg out of the covers at night to get a little cool air on your body.
Unlike some of the other ones on this list, at least this is still edible, and it actually looks tasty even with the overflowing portion. Next time they have to remember to put it in a pan with some extra room for it to rise.
37. How Does Someone Mess Up Spaghetti? Here Is Your Answer
Making pasta from a box is probably the easiest and most basic meal when you have no other cooking skills. All you have to know is how to boil water and taste a piece of pasta to see when it is ready. This person somehow messed up the easiest thing in the world.
First of all, their pot is too small for that spaghetti. Second, the flame is too high for a pot that size if it is catching on fire. Finally, how did they not see that the flame was too close to the pasta? We have so many questions for this person.
38. Well That Is Not The Lobster They Imagined
To be fair, this person should have known that their cake would turn out like a phallic object once they saw the pan's outline. Although it was supposed to be a cute lobster, this cake is more fitting for someone's bachelorette party.
Maybe if they ice it with red and draw all the lobster details in black, they can save this inappropriate cake. How did they not see that this was coming? This mold is probably not for cakes but things like gelatin.
39. Tomato Sauce With A Hint Of Glass
This person just wanted to make a big pot of spaghetti and sauce, but all signs pointed to that not happening. Unless she enjoys class in her food, this one is a huge fail, but it's not her fault. She couldn't have known that the lid was going to shatter like that.
There is no way she could save this one unless she is trying to kill her whole family. We would send this picture to the manufacturer and demand a refund because this should not happen, and it is dangerous.
40. Derpy Homer Simpson
Decorating cakes is a skill that takes years of practice and hard work to perfect. In the inspiration photo, it looks like the person traced a picture of Homer Simpson to get it just right while the recreation was all sorts of wrong. The only resemblance is the color of his skin.
While the cake on the left was clearly made by a professional, the cake on the right definitely needs so help. Imagine if this was presented on one of those baking shows. They would tear this design to pieces, but we give them some credit for a first attempt.
41. "It Seemed So Simple In The Picture"
The person thought it would be easy to recreate this cupcake dog cake because it was just a bunch of chocolate cupcakes with a head and paws. After starting the design, they realize it would be much more challenging than they intended.
Instead of a cute puppy cake, they have this weird brown caterpillar-looking thing. Hopefully, they found it a good home instead of dumping him in the trash or taking it to the pound. No matter how ugly, someone will learn to love this dog cake.
42. Instead Of A Timer, The Sound Of The Eggs Exploding Reminded Him That They Were Done
As we saw previously, hard-boiled eggs are not the easiest thing to accomplish. However, this person didn't make them incorrectly; they simply forgot that they were making them in the first place. They forgot to set the time, and incidentally, the eggs exploded in the pot.
Their biggest mistake was forgetting to use water, obviously. Can you imagine what their kitchen must smell like? People will walk in and wonder where the sulfur deposits are for months following this incident.
43. His Brother Added Blue Food Dye As A Practical Joke
This is not exactly a cooking fail because it wasn't the chef's fault. However, presentation-wise, their dish is ruined. While making some Thai chicken, they turned around to grab something, and their brother added blue food coloring to the pan.
Instead of wasting the food, the family ate a completely blue meal, and all of their mouths turned blue too. It looks like a moldy pan, but the food tastes just as good despite the color.
44. Seriously, How Does This Even Happen?
We don't know who this person lives with, but they should find a new roommate after seeing this. How is it possible to melt a metal pan? That just seems like something you have to try to do instead of it being an accident.
Their landlords must hate them because if the roommate is doing things like this, we can only imagine what other idiotic stuff she has done in the past. To this person, we say, cut your losses and find a more competent roommate.
45. This Went From A Proud Moment To Pure Disappointment In Seconds
We can imagine that Tom was very pleased with the cheesecake he made from scratch. As he put it into the fridge a few moments later, all his accomplishments came crashing to the ground. He lost his cheesecake and his will to bake anything ever again.
Tom probably should have made sure there was a clear spot for his cheesecake in the fridge before he tried to transfer it. It is hard to balance something in one hand while moving things around in the refrigerator with the other hand.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, you will see the bottom cake's resemblance to Voldemort's body that Harry sees when he is in purgatory in the final movie. It seriously looks like a bloody fetus in all the worst ways possible, and nothing like a dragon.
Imagine opening the fridge and finding this without any context. You would probably run and scream for your life. The young boy tried his best to recreate the dragon, but it just didn't work out.
47. Rice Paper Black Bean Burritos That Look More Like Dog Poo
This person's roommate was out of tortillas, so he made his black bean burrito with rice paper. He didn't know rice paper would make the burrito look like that, but he ate it anyway. This is something that seems too unappetizing to consume.
We understand that he wanted the black bean burrito, but he didn't have to make this horrifying creation. It looks like something that comes out of you a few hours after eating the black beans, not something you put in your mouth.
48. Never Ask Your Boyfriend To Make The Roll Out Croissants
If you are familiar with the Pillsbury crescent rolls, you know that they come in triangles, and you have to roll them up before baking. Apparently, not everyone knows that like this girl's boyfriend. Instead of the delicious rolls, they got large crispy chips.
She regretted asking him for help when she pulled these out of the oven. You would think that he would have read the instructions if he never made them before. At least these taste good, and he only messed up the shape.
49. You Can Almost Hear The Scream "NOOOOO!!!"
Out of the kindness of her heart, this girl made a cherry pie for her mom and brought it to her house. As she was opening the front door to her mom's house, she dropped the pie. Instead of giving her mom a special gift, she now has to help clean up the mess.
This is what happens when you try to do nice things for people; the world laughs at you and breaks you down. We hope she stayed to help her mom clean up the gory mess she made.

After putting the eggplant in the oven, this person was looking for their missing knife. After about ten minutes, they started to smell melting plastic from the oven and realized they created a new dish: Eggplant with a side of melted knife.
