Waking up and dragging yourself to work on a Monday morning can feel like the hardest thing in the world. You spill your coffee on the way to work, then your boss gives you a million new tasks, and it seems like the day could not get any worse. By the time lunch rolls around you're wondering if you should just tell your boss that you have a sudden emergency and that you need to leave early because everything seems to be going wrong anyway. However, you know what helps people feel better about their terrible days at work? Seeing someone else who is having an even worse day than you. So join us in hysterical laughter as we check out the people whose days at the office ended in an absolute nightmare
"And no one girl ever wanted to dance with the fool who went and ripped his pants." Can you imagine your boss is giving a presentation, and he turns around to reveal a huge rip in his pants, but no one dares to say anything, so everyone lets him go on like that? He must have been mortified to find out.
Throughout all of his meetings that day, no one thought to tell him about the giant rip. If he doesn't close a deal with those clients, now he will know why at least. Maybe no one noticed because it is so low; that would be the best possible scenario here.
Who would want to use a kitchen where fecal matter is dripping? Even after they fix the problem, we would be too grossed out to use the kitchen again. What would it take to close the office for the day to fix the problem? It is literally raining number two!
We would hate to be the person who has to sit closest to the kitchen. That office must smell horrible, and we would refuse to come into work under those conditions. It should be illegal to ask people to sit in an office where fecal matter is dripping from the ceiling.
If you have ever felt like a bad employee, just remember you never almost accidentally exploded a huge missile. We don't know why this factory casually has missiles being moved around carelessly, but this person got extremely lucky because this could have killed many people.
We can only imagine how nervous they were when they started to roll over the edge. The driver probably jumped out of the vehicle and started running in case it exploded. Luckily nothing was damaged when this happened.
Was there an earthquake at this store, or did someone fall into the shelf drunkenly? Maybe he was assuring job security; he cleans up, then makes a mess to guarantee there will always be more stuff to clean up. When people walk into this store, they will get buzzed off all the fumes.
Where would you even start with a job like this? It would take forever to sweep up all the glass, then mop up all the alcohol and make it smell clean again. We are getting a headache just thinking about the smell in this place.
"Sorry, sir, this is not the drive-thru window." On the bright side, the employee who took this photo won't have to work for a few weeks while the store is being repaired. They probably need a break anyway after experiencing something like this.
This employee will never forget their worst day of work because how can anyone forget something like this? The driver must have been overly excited about their two for $2 hotdogs, so he ran right into the store to grab some.
On the day of your big presentation, you walk into the conference room, and this is what you see; what do you do? It is like Old McDonald let his farm animals run wild around the office. Someone forgot to send the animal mask memo to the person giving the presentation.
Maybe the entire office decided to dress up for Halloween but in the creepiest way possible. They don't have to feel awkward during the presentation because everyone's emotions and facial expressions are hidden.
When someone cuts you off in traffic, it probably makes you annoyed, but it won't ruin your day. However, if you get cut off with a container of pizza sauce in your back seat, you might feel a bit different. Thankfully, most of us aren't driving around with pizza sauce.
This person was taking sauce to another store when someone cut them off. They might as well burn their car now because it is going to be impossible to clean this mess. They should have put the sauce in a more secure container.
This is always something wrong with the office copier. Whether there is a paper jam or it is out of toner, there is no guessing what kind of problems it will have. When this person walked into their office on Monday morning, they should have turned around and gone home.
We would not want to be the person that has to clean this mess up. How does this even happen? Who was the last person to fill the ink cartridge - because they obviously didn't do it correctly. Check the tapes because someone is at fault here.
When you work with your friends, you never know what pranks they will pull on you. When this person arrived to work one morning, their desk looked like someone was wrapping it like Thanksgiving leftovers. It wasn't hard to remove, and they had aluminum foil to last an entire year.
It was probably the loudest morning in the office with all the crinkling foil. It probably took them more time and thought to put it together than to remove it. This is something Jim would do to Dwight on The Office, and we are surprised that the writers didn't think of it first.
Have you ever tried to impress your coworkers with a unique skill or knowledge about something? Sometimes they might think you are cool, and other times people end up looking silly when they try something out of their wheelhouse.
This person looks like the teacher that always wants to be the most liked but embarrasses himself instead. If you are having a bad day, just remember, at least you aren't this guy; No one wants to be this guy.
Although this has never happened to us, we can only imagine how horrible it is when your car gets stuck in a flood. This person was already struggling, so he tried to push his car through the water when he realized he wasn't alone.
What would you do if you saw this monster floating by you? We would get in the car and hope the alligator doesn't know how to open the doors. He should probably call his boss to say he might be a little bit later than expected.
When your company sends out a memo to dress up, but you misinterpret it and go too far. He might as well act like nothing is different and spike the coffee with hallucinogens. That would be the only logical resolution for this amount of embarrassment.
It looks like he put a lot of effort into this makeup, and it was all for nothing. Hopefully, he didn't get too much slack for coming in with this on his face. It must have been near Halloween, so it was an innocent mistake.
When you are running late to work, you might try to speed or take shortcuts to cut down the commute, but those don't always work. When this person tried to cut around traffic, but it only caused them to be much later than expected.
The people had just paved that patch of road, and this person ruined it because they couldn't wait till there was a legal turn. Maybe he should have looked at the cones before making an illegal U-turn. Now both the construction workers' and drivers' days are ruined.
This looks like something that would only happen in a Disney channel show. At least the person who works there knows they did an excellent job of cleaning the windows. They were so clear that she walked right into it, but now her milkshakes are gone, and she is covered in a sugary mess.
Unless she wasn't paying attention at all, we don't see how she made this mistake. Maybe she did it as a joke to get clout for her social media. Whatever the reason, this is not a position anyone would want to be in during their lunch break.
It's probably never a good day to be a juggler's assistant, but this day was especially horrible because there was fire involved. A typical bad day usually consists of self-doubt and wondering what wrong turns they took in life to become a juggler's assistant.
Any job involving fire comes with a risk, but this man wasn't even paying attention when the incident happened. Why would he get so close to the person throwing the fire around? As an assistant, he should have been more alert and prepared.
"Help, I've fallen, and I can't get up!" Being a crane operator must be very stressful since they have to make sure this massive thing doesn't destroy anything. It's safe to say that this person failed at that job. They are going to have to do a lot of explaining to their bosses.
How does this even happen? It must have gotten too top-heavy and toppled over, but the operator didn't realize it in time to stop it. It might be their last day at work because no one will trust them to operate the crane again, especially after the damage it caused.
If you are feeling down at work because your boss reprimanded you, think about how this person must feel. We don't know how this happened, but the truck driver smashed into a plane that was sitting on the runway. Wouldn't they have seen the plane in the way?
Hopefully, the driver wasn't injured in this accident. The only rule they probably have is not to crash the truck or damage a plane, and they broke both those rules. If you ever wondered why your flight was delayed, remember this picture.
It must have felt like this was happening in slow motion because all her hard work went to waste within a few seconds. After working all day to make a beautiful cake for her daughter's 16th birthday, her husband bumped into her, and the cake went flying.
You have probably seen this scenario before, and you know that they will be bickering about this for years to come. No matter how old their daughter gets, each birthday, this woman will bring up the cake incident, and there will never be a winner in the argument.
There is nothing better than taking a personal day to do absolutely nothing after having a few busy months. This woman took the day to get some sun and relax instead of worrying about work, but her dog had other plans. He couldn't let her have one day of peace.
She thought it started raining until she opened her eyes and realized what was happening. That is one sure way to ruin a day off. He was just marking his territory and didn't understand that he wasn't supposed to pee on his owner's head.
Have you ever trusted a coworker to help you get out of a situation, and they throw you under the bus instead? That is probably how this girl felt when her horse refused to jump over the obstacle, and it threw her off.
That's the type of betrayal no one should ever feel from their coworkers. It's a good thing she was wearing her helmet, or else this could have gone horribly wrong. How will she be able to trust her coworker ever again after this?
When you hire a handyman, you hope that they will get the job done without too many issues. This person didn't have that luck because the handyman fell through the ceiling when he was fixing something upstairs, and it left a huge hole.
They definitely didn't ask for a new spotlight, and they will not be happy about the hole in the ceiling. Hopefully, this person has insurance, so they can pay to fix the hole they caused. That is not the best way to try to get a promotion.
When you are trying to look cool, but you fall flat on your face in front of all your coworkers. He thought he was tough because he rode to the scene on a motorcycle, and then fell off as he was parking. The other cops couldn't let this go unnoticed, and he will never live it down.
Instead of getting up quickly, he stayed on the ground because he couldn't bear to hear the laughter. That photo was pasted all over the station, and for the rest of his career, he will be known for falling off the motorcycle.
You can almost smell this video through your computer screen. There are not enough showers this man could take to get the feeling of manure off his body. If anybody is having the worst day at work, it is this man, and we can't blame him.
Hannah Montana said, "Everbody makes mistakes, everybody has those days," but she didn't know that a mistake could lead to this smelly accident. Maybe they should trust someone else with the wheelbarrow instead of this man with the slippery shoes.
When your coworkers go a little over the top for your birthday to the point when you can't even get to your desk. They made it impossible to work, so this person might as well take the day off until someone cleans out their office.
While it is nice to be surprised on your birthday, no one wants to spend the morning cleaning up the decorations. That's a birthday prank and job rolled into one. Who has the time or lung capacity to blow this many balloons up anyway? How many people were part of this?
Imagine you are already having a bad day at work, only to come home and find a school bus in your living room. Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, the universe has a way of laughing in your face. Not only is their house wrecked, but all their repressed childhood memories are coming back up again.
The bus can be a traumatizing place for people because of mean school children, and having one crash into your living room is exacerbating those negative associations. It's good that there weren't any children on the bus, so no one got hurt.
It took six years and somebody retiring to get a reserved parking spot under the covering. When they showed up that morning, this is who they had to park next to. All that waiting only to find out that this is probably why the person decided to retire in the first place.
We would block their car in so they learn not to take up two spaces. We don't care if they have a Tesla or a Lamborghini, that doesn't give them the right to take up two spots. They deserve to be towed for this absolute rudeness.
You've been caught red-handed, sir. Put the ketchup on the ground and back away slowly. He must have been reenacting the scene from Carrie, and this was the only fake blood he could find. They had some trouble with the dispenser, and now it's dispensed all over the room.
What did this ketchup bottle do to be brutally murdered? It's like he blacked out and is only now realizing that he did something wrong. The other ketchup bottles are cowering in fear in the back corners of the shelf because they don't want the same fate as their friend.
It might only be his first day, but this employee should probably quit his job and move to a different state to escape this embarrassment. On the first day, he overflowed the toilet and flooded the bathroom. That is one uncomfortable conversation to have with your coworkers.
Using the excuse, "It was like that when I got here," might not work in this situation, but they can try. For the rest of the time they work there, they will be known as the person who flooded the bathroom on their first day. There is no way to change a reputation like that; the damage is done.
Crime at this college must be pretty common because people are bold enough to steal the campus security patrol car tires. They might as well go to the police station and start working on the cop cars. The security guard had to respond to his own tires being stolen; that's ironic.
They didn't even have the decency to leave behind the lugs or put blocks under the car. We guess if they are stealing, human decency isn't their top concern. They must be tired of people doing this kind of thing on their campus.
No one wants to go to work when it is snowing, especially if you have to walk outside to get there. This person went to work in -41 degrees snow, and there was no one there to let him in. He also didn't have keys to the building.
How did anyone expect this person to get inside to clean if they weren't given keys? That's just setting the person up to fail and be stuck in the cold. If we saw the weather, we would have called in sick because no one is going to work in those conditions.
To get through the day, everyone has their rituals like an afternoon coffee or a can of soda. When your day is not off to a great start, that ritual might be one of the few things you can look forward to, so you definitely don't want that to get messed up as well.
This person had been looking forward to their afternoon soda all day, and then this happened. The tab fell off, and they had nothing to get it open. It looks like that soda will be trapped in the can forever, and they should just leave early before anything else goes wrong.
Have you ever brought something in for your whole office, and one person ruins it? When this person made a pie for his coworkers, it went missing by noon, and no one could find it. How could a pie grow legs and walk away? Someone had to have seen it.
It turned out that their boss took it and ate the whole thing. How can someone eat an entire pie by themselves? That man must have been starving to down a whole pie by noon. This is like when Ross's boss ate his leftover sandwich in Friends.
Not only did this person have to work on a Saturday, but they also found a fly in their morning coffee. That is one way to set yourself up for a bad day at work. We don't know what is worse, drinking the fly or working on the weekend.
It would have been even worse if he choked on the fly. Starting the day with the Heimlich maneuver is not the best motivation for positivity. The coffee doesn't look that good anyways, so the fly probably did him a favor.
Not to worry, this isn't blood, but it might as well be because losing that much medication is probably about the same amount of money. This person must have been in so much trouble for destroying all this medicine. We can only imagine how much it cost the company.
This must be the blood of the employees that made all the mistakes, and this person will be adding to the pile. Bob Ross would call this a "happy little accident," but the managers of the factory don't feel the same way.
When you work at a company for a while, you make connections with your coworkers and form friendships. After five years at this company with over 500 people, only three people signed their goodbye card. That has got to be a huge slap in the face for this person.
Either they made zero friends in those five years, or people were salty about them leaving for a better job. People must have been confused because there are so many employees, and they were too lazy to sign a card.
There was only half an hour left in the workday, and this happened. The wheelbarrow broke, and the sand went all over the work walkway. He should try typing Ctrl + Z to see if it will undo this situation. Now they will be there for an extra hour of work.
At least it wasn't concrete, and at least they didn't spill the sand into someone's pool - if you want to look on the bright side of things. He is not performing this wheelie correctly, so it's his fault for poor execution. He should try again tomorrow.
What could be more tedious than sorting coffee beans by hand? While working, their boss accidentally mixed the roasted and fresh beans, so he made other people sort them by hand. They had to go through 10,000 beans, and it took them the rest of the day.
On the positive side, they didn't have to deal with annoying customers for an entire shift. Sometimes these mindless tasks are so much better than actually doing work. It's not something you actually have to think about, and you can let your mind wander.
There is nothing that can really get your day going in the right direction like a piece of a plane falling and smashing your rear window. At first, he thought he was being shot at, but it was just stuff falling from the sky; no big deal.
This person could get a whole new car with the money he might get from the airline. Forget about fixing just a window; upgrade the vehicle because they could have killed you or seriously injured the driver.
This guy's face says it all. He looks like he is ready to pack it up and go home, and we can all relate to that feeling. When something goes wrong at work, and there is a big mess to clean up, you just want to fix the problem and be done for the day because it is so frustrating.
When this man opened the pressurized milk line, his hairnet was blown off his head, and he was covered in milk. No one wants to spend the day covered in milk; that sounds awful. Hopefully, he had a change of clothes to put on after this.
We don't know where this person works, but right before their midnight shift, they received this message from their manager. How do you even respond to a message like this? Is being afraid of dead bodies a good excuse to call out of work?
Unless they work at a morgue, this is a strange message to get. They actually work at a grocery store, which makes this ten times worse because no one wants to see a dead body next to food. That will make you go on a water-only diet for a few weeks.
